We have a Learnership Program for historically disadvantaged individuals and through this initiative, we have successfully hired a number of male and female individuals from Black communities that were unemployed and therefore could generate no fixed income. These individuals had little formal education and were inducted into a 2 year program for hands-on skills and promotion within the company. They were trained on various competencies including programming, networking, reception, applications, etc. Based on their abilities, skills and talents, these individuals were offered an opportunity to grow into senior positions and functions.
We are pleased to state that the success of this campaign, includes a black male whom progressed from a Security Guard to serving within our Customer Services facility whilst a female domestic worker has progressed through the ranks of receptionist, girl Friday to serve as a Personal Assistant to the Executive.
We also provide bursaries and sponsorships to previously disadvantaged individuals. These include life skills, business administration and technology subjects. Some of the individuals have been placed within the company whilst others have sought employment in other industries
We are committed to the social upliftment of our communities and have the following programs in place:
- Skills development for NGO’s – mainly in the management and administration area’s
- Donations and support to NGO’s
